Who this policy is for
Nimantrana is an art-focused wedding invitation studio based in Bengaluru, India. This policy covers our website, enquiries and invitation service, including Google Calendar where an invitation offers that connection.
For a question about your information, contact the studio. We will use the details you provide to follow up on your request.
The details you share
Our enquiry form asks for your name, phone number and email address. It also records the collection or enquiry interest you select. We use these details to respond, discuss your invitation and personally share the relevant purchase link.
When we work on an invitation, you may provide names, photographs, family wording, event dates and times, venue details, design references and other content you want included. Please share only what is needed and make sure you have permission from the people whose details or photographs you provide.
How we use those details
We use enquiry information to answer you and manage the work you ask us to undertake. Invitation content is used to personalise or create the agreed invitation and support its delivery. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, sell that data or use it to train AI models.
An enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. The current website contains no advertising or analytics scripts installed by Nimantrana.
Your Google Calendar
Where an invitation offers Google Calendar, you choose whether to connect your Google account. Google handles account selection, sign-in and permission. Nimantrana does not receive your Google password.
The intended connection runs through calendar.nimantrana.art. It requests calendar.events.owned, which Google describes as permission to view, create, change and delete events on calendars you own. We use it to add the invitation events you choose to your primary calendar and check those exact event IDs when a request is repeated. We do not list unrelated events, overwrite guest-edited events or delete existing events.
The connection is designed to hold its temporary access token only in the page’s memory, send it directly to Google Calendar over HTTPS and discard it when the page closes. It does not request offline access or save a refresh token, and does not put calendar tokens in URLs, cookies, browser storage or a Nimantrana database. Google API responses are used in the browser to confirm progress and matching events.
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers or AI services.
You may decline permission or remove Nimantrana’s access through your Google Account’s third-party connections. Closing the page does not revoke permission or remove events already added. You can edit or delete those events in Google Calendar. A calendar-file download, where offered, contains event details and no Google access token.
The services involved
Netlify hosts the current website and processes the enquiry form. Form submissions are available to the studio through its hosting account and configured private notifications. Hosting and notification providers may process request metadata, such as an IP address, the requested page and delivery information, as part of operating their services.
A live collection preview loads an embedded invitation from its own source site. Your browser contacts that site when the preview loads, and it may also load resources from that site’s providers. Those sites and providers may process request metadata under their own privacy practices. Following a map, payment or other external link can also take you to another service.
Google processes sign-in and calendar requests under its privacy policy; Netlify describes its practices in its privacy policy. Those providers may process information outside India. We use the information they handle for the enquiry, hosting and invitation functions described here.
Keeping and correcting information
We keep enquiry and project information for as long as needed to respond, carry out the agreed work, address follow-up questions and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. The duration depends on the enquiry or project; there is no single promised retention period for every record.
We use HTTPS and account access controls to protect information. No internet service can promise absolute security. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details or identity documents through the enquiry form.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw permission for a use that depends on your consent. Contact the studio and tell us what you need when we reply. We may need enough information to confirm whose record the request concerns.
Removing published invitation content, removing Google permission and deleting calendar events are separate actions. We will explain what we can change and any information we need to retain for an applicable obligation. Nothing in this policy limits rights available to you under applicable law.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or the way information is handled changes. The date shown on this page identifies the current version.
